The academics of BIST aim to provide equity for all students when it comes to education. Our philosophy is that every student should have an experience tailored specifically to their learning abilities. BIST employs strategies and resources to build STEM school atmosphere connecting the students to higher education. We cultivate an environment that encourages students to apply their acquired skills beyond the classroom.
Primary
PreK-6th Grade will introduce students to the basic of science, math, and technology while also leaving room for them to discover their passions. By 5th grade, students will attain fluency in both English and French. This period of their educational journey will also briefly feature artistic activities and endeavors. All the mentioned subjects will open the door for students to further pursue their goals in middle school.
Secondary
During the transitional 7th-8th grade years of middle school, students will develop teamwork and critical thinking skills that will be imperative to solve basic, everyday problems using logic and acquired knowledge of Math, Science, and Technology.
These years will place emphasis on application-based learning as well as problem solving. The middle school period aims to arm students with the tools they will need to succeed in high school.
High School
Bambilor Institute of Science and Technology’s high school program (9th-12th grade) will prepare students not only to pursue higher education but start solving real life problems. Each student will start on a major project with the goal of solving a real-world problem that will begin in their 9th grade year and will be completed by the end of their 11th grade year. Students will also investigate higher education at this level and will be ready for the possibility of internship in our network of local businesses.
During their 12th grade year, students will focus on how they will pursue their career and either prepare to attend college whether it be locally or at a foreign institution or join the workforce. The main goal of this period is to prepare students to succeed beyond the classroom.
